Online customer service for adult student benefits

Apply for adult education allowance and a scholarship for qualified employee on the adult student benefits online service.

Applying for benefits in the online service is secure and effortless. You can handle your affairs anywhere, anytime, when it suits you best. When you apply for benefits and add attachments in the online service, they are immediately delivered to the recipient. Log in to the transaction service via the Suomi.fi service with your personal online banking ID, mobile certificate or certificate card.


Channel for all study-related matters

On the new adult student online service, you can

  • apply for adult education allowance: right to allowance with initial application, payment of the allowance by means of a payment application, increase adult education allowance for studies for which you have first applied allowance for before 1 August 2020 and an entrepreneur’s adult education allowance
  • apply for a scholarship for a qualified employee
  • submit attachments to your applications, such as a student certificate or change tax card for a benefit
  • send and receive messages about your applications securely
  • see the status of your application (under processing/decision issued)
  • review the decision you have received
  • appeal against the decision
  • update your e-mail address.


Technical requirements

The online service works best with the latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge (Chromium), and Safari browsers. If you are having technical issues, please make sure to check from the settings that you are using the latest version of your browser. The online service does not work with Internet Explorer.

Our online service is unavailable between 1.00 and 4.00 am due to database updates.

Log in to the online service via the link you received by email. You can access the service with your personal online banking ID or with a mobile certificate or a certificate card.
