Adult education allowances and scholarship for qualified employee support adults in developing their professional ability and updating their competences. Adult education allowance can be granted to employees and entrepreneurs who have at least eight years of employment history. Adult education allowance can only be granted for full-time study.
Scholarship for qualified employee is granted to people who are studying towards a vocational qualification and who have at least five years of employment history by the time they complete the qualification.
Granting of the adult education allowance and the scholarship for qualified employee is based on the Act on Adult Education benefits (in Finnish).

We will grant a scholarship if you have completed a vocational upper secondary qualification, a further qualification or a specialist qualification and you have at least five years of employment history by the date on which you complete the qualification.Read more about the scholarship
