Mötesreformen

The Nordic unemployment insurance meetings (NAF) have been held since 1949. The meeting is held every other year, but not the same year as the Nordic Social Insurance Meeting (NSFM).

The purpose of NAF is to discuss unemployment insurance issues, to spread knowledge about employment insurance coverage in each country and to provide opportunities to share experiences of changes in national insurance. Increased understanding of strengthened cooperation provides a prerequisite for a positive joint development.

The meeting is held on the initiative of the countries' unemployment insurance authorities and takes the form of jointly drawn up statutes. At the meeting, the Scandinavian languages are spoken - Danish, Norwegian and Swedish.
The meeting is aimed at management, middle managers and experts.

A permanent committee with representatives from all the Nordic countries is set up separately before each meeting. The committee prepares and is responsible for the program. Hosting rolls between the countries in the following order: Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland and the Faroe Islands.
