Follow-up check of studies launched

NEWS 15.10.2020 10.37

We have begun checking up on study credits completed during the academic year 2019–2020. We monitor the study credits of adult education allowance recipients after the end of each academic year. We also check whether the recipient’s studies have ended during the adult education allowance period. We receive information on study credits and ended studies from the Koski register and directly from education institutions.

Adult education allowance can only be granted for full-time studies. If, based on information we receive, it appears that you have not completed sufficient study credits during the allowance period, we will ask you to report your full-time studies during the allowance period. If it is found that your studies have not been full-time, the allowance was paid without grounds and will be recovered.
