Authorisation to online service for unemployment insurance contributions

To the online service for unemployment insurance contributions, you log in with your personal online banking codes, mobile certificate or certificate card. It is recommended to use the online service with a Chrome browser.

If you are acting on behalf of a company, please select Log in on behalf of a company. After that, you will see a list of companies whose behalf you can act.

If you cannot find the company you are looking for, make sure that your authorisations are in order.

  • For companies and private persons the authorisations take place through Suomi.fi web service
  • Associations, foundations, municipalities, parishes, educational institutions, business partnerships, estates, public authorities and foreign companies use Katso service for new authorisations.
  • Person with the company’s procuration must also authorise himself.

Please note that online service for the unemployment insurance contributions cannot be accessed with Katso IDs, but information on authorisations given in Katso service are transferred to the online service.

Granting mandate in Suomi.fi for companies and private persons

If you want to authorise another person or a company to act on behalf of the company on the unemployment insurance contribution matter, log in to the Suomi.fi web service using your personal bank IDs. Remember to switch to handling the matter on behalf of the company by selecting Log in on behalf of a company. After that, you can select the company whose matters you want to handle. For the content of the mandate, you have to choose Maintaining information on Unemployment insurance contributions, which you can find under the header Work and unemployment.

Granting mandate in Katso service

Associations, foundations, municipalities, parishes, educational institutions, business partnerships, estates, public authorities and foreign companies use Katso service for new authorisations.

When logging into the online service you need personal online banking access codes, mobile certificate or certificate card. You cannot access the service with katso IDs anymore. When you have logged in, the service will identify if the logged in person has valid katso authorisation. So basically, the katso authorisation is still in use, not the katso IDs.

A person who has been given a mandate to manage organization’s unemployment insurance contribution matters, logs in to the online customer service with personal online banking codes, mobile certificate or certificate card.
