In the future, unemployment insurance contributions will be charged four times a year based on the information on the Incomes Register

NEWS 13.3.2019 8.00

After the introduction of the Incomes Register, the unemployment insurance contributions will be charged according to the actualised wages. We will determine the payments based on the wages reported to the Incomes Register. There will also be changes to the invoicing cycle, sub-totals and terms of payment.

The first invoices that comply with the new procedure will be sent on 15 April 2019. These invoices will take into account the wages paid between January and March 2019 that are subject to unemployment insurance contribution. The subtotal of the invoice can be substantially different compared to the previous year. Please note that the invoice includes both employer and employee payments.

The term of payment is 21 days. Penalty interest invoices will be sent once a year.
