As announced on 27 June 2018, the Unemployment Insurance Fund and the Education Fund are combining to become the Employment Fund on 1 January 2019. The Employment Fund will handle the statutory tasks of both funds without causing any changes to the financing of unemployment benefits or the fund's solvency and financial position.
The Unemployment Insurance Fund will remain as the same legal entity although its name changes and it receives additional rights and responsibilities. The Employment Fund's business ID will be the Unemployment Insurance Fund's current business ID 1098099-7.
